How to replace the thermostat on 2002 GMC Envoy?

In order to replace the thermostat, remove the coolant in the radiator first. Loosen Hose Clamp Use Hose Clamp Pliers to loosen outlet hose clamp and remove outlet hose. Take out the housing of the thermostat by removing the securing bolts. Wipe all surfaces then attach the housing and outlet hose again. Add fluid to the cooling system and seal up.
