How to replace the throttle cable on 2002 GMC Safari?

To replace the accelerator controls cable, remove the engine cover and air cleaner outlet duct. Remove the accelerator cable from the throttle lever, engine cable bracket and accelerator pedal. Remove cable assembly and then attach new cable to bulkhead and reconnect to pedal, bracket, and throttle lever. Reinstall air cleaner duct and engine cover.
