How to replace the engine oil and oil filter on 2002 GMC Savana 3500?

To change the engine oil and Oil Filter, first raise the car. Uninstall the Oil Filter from the engine block and clean the sealing area. After, remove the Oil Pan Drain Plug and drain the engine oil into an appropriate container. Secure new Oil Filter onto engine block making sure it is tightened up to the specifications given by the Oil Filter manufacturer on the Oil Filter box. Replace the Drain Plug into the Oil Pan and snug it to 25 nm (18 ft.lbs). Finally, lower the vehicle and fill the crankcase with oil.
