How to replace the Parking Brake Shoe on 2003 Cadillac CTS?

Starting the Parking Brake Shoe replacement requires initial removal of the Wheel Bearing and hub assembly. Rotate the parking brake adjusting nut by until you remove all adjustment from the system then unfasten the Parking Brake Shoe retaining spring. Pull the park brake shoe assembly from the actuator assembly by spreading it slightly. Install the park brake shoe assembly through spreading it slightly while pulling it over the actuator assembly followed by Parking Brake Shoe retaining spring installation. First reinstall the Wheel Bearing and hub assembly before adjusting the Parking Brake Shoe-to-drum clearance and finally bringing down the vehicle.
