  A: Begin service of fuel injectors by removing the Fuel Rail then extracting the Fuel Injector retainer clip followed immediately by extracting the injector. You need to throw out the injector retainer clip together with Fuel Injector O-Ring seals (2, 4). You need to choose the right injector during replacement because the injector shows identification through its stamp along with a four-digit code which displays the manufacturing month and day and year and shift. Clean engine oil must lubricate new Fuel Injector O-Ring seals (2, 4) before their installation onto the Fuel Injector. Place the new retainer clip onto the Fuel Injector before putting the Fuel Injector into the Fuel Rail injector socket with the electrical connector facing outside. Make sure the retainer clip locks onto a flange on the Fuel Rail injector socket. Finally, reinstall the Fuel Rail.
