In order to change the transmission fluid cooler hose/pipe, first raise the vehicle, disconnect the oil cooler lines from the Radiator, transmission and mounting bracket and remove the cooler lines from the vehicle. For installation, start by attaching the transmission oil cooler line to the vehicle and fix the oil cooler lines to the mounting bracket. It is essential that all existing oil lines, fittings cannot be re-used in case of excessive corrosion, and all the retaining rings taken from the fittings of the plumbing connected to the quick connect must be replaced with new ones. Lastly, join the oil cooler lines to both the transmission and Radiator, before lowering the automobile.
