The first step to replace the torque converter clutch/cruise control release switch requires removal of the left closeout/insulator panel. The upper switch should be detached by rotating it counterclockwise before disconnecting the electrical connector. Before installing the new switch position the Brake Pedal completely upwards or maintain it at rest. The upper switch electrical connection must be connected first before installing the switch into the upper retainer while rotating it clockwise until complete insertion. Adjust the switch according to need then reinstall the left closeout/insulator panel.
