Starting the inside air temperature sensor replacement requires removal of the instrument panel cluster (IPC) trim plate. Start by disconnecting the electrical connection from the air temperature sensor at the aspirator hose then detach the sensor from this hose. Attach the air temperature sensor to the aspirator hose then make sure it forms an airtight seal with the instrument panel cluster trim plate to stop sampling air from behind the dash. After reattaching the IPC trim plate complete the process by reconnecting the sensor's electrical connector.
