To replace the torsion bar, lift and support the vehicle. Use Torsion Bar Tool to reduce strain on the adjustment bolt. Take out the adjusting bolt and the adjusting nut. Torsion bars: After unloading the torsion bar, remove the crossmember and replace the new torsion bars making sure they are in position. Reinstall parts and set Z height appropriately.
