To install lift gate hinges, open the liftgate and label the points of hinges. Take off the grommets and electrical connections and washer hose. Prophylactically help to support the liftgate, unscrew the assist rods and strip the nuts that hold the hinges. Liftgate Carefully remove and install new hinges, and then replace and reconnect.
