  A: Unbolt the cover of the Exhaust Manifold to remove it and replace the Catalytic Converter. Diligently apply moderation on exhaust service and do not underestimate flex decoupler and Catalytic Converter movements alerts. Following this, there is the removal of the Catalytic Converter upper flange nut, followed later by the connecting pipe mounting bracket bolt and the last step would be the removal of the Catalytic Converter lower flange nuts. Take out the Catalytic Converter and the gasket. In the installation process, place the Catalytic Converter and gasket followed by the downward tightening of lower flange nuts as well as the connecting pipe bracket. Also, tighten the nuts of connecting pipe to the Catalytic Converter and the bracket bolt to 40 nm (30 ft. Lb.). Mounting the Catalytic Converter onto the Exhaust Manifold flange with one upper flange nut before tightening up the upper flange nuts and the Catalytic Converter to Exhaust Manifold nuts, 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.). At last, install the bolts for Exhaust Manifold cover with 15 nm (11 ft. Lbs).
