How to replace the Front Cross-Member on a 4WD on 2004 Chevrolet Blazer?

Raise and support the vehicle to hire a replacement front engine crossmember of a 4WD vehicle. Take out the differential carrier shield, remove the bolts that attach the crossmember and then remove that too. Install the new crossmember and then attach and screw the bolts and then re-fit the shield and lower the vehicle.
