A driver should drain the Fuel Tank before vehicle elevation and start the procedure by unstopping the Fuel Tank filler hose clamps. The Fuel Tank requires draining before proceeding so loosen the clamp on the fuel fill hose at the fill tube to remove the hose. You must read and follow fastener notice in service precautions before installing the parts. Attach the fuel fill hose to the Fuel Tank and fuel fill tube by tightening its clamps to 2.5 n.m (22 lb in). Lift the vehicle before removing the fuel fill cap to add fuel to the tank and afterward reinstalling the fill cap.
