How to replace the front wheel hub and bearing on 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier?

Start replacement work by lifting the vehicle with a hoist and taking off both tire and wheel units. After disconnecting the brake rotor you should turn your attention to removing the drive axle nut. Free the hub and bearing assembly by removing its bolts and secure it away from the Steering Knuckle and drive Axle Shaft. Set the hub and bearing assembly into Steering Knuckle and drive Axle Shaft, then bolt it with hub bearing fasteners and tighten them to 95 n.m (70 lb ft). Place the drive Axle Shaft nut first and stabilize it at 200 n.m (148 lb ft), then install the brake rotor and wheel components. Check the wheel alignment of the front wheels as the last step.
