How to replace the canister purge valves on 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

Disconnect the connector from the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge solenoid valve first, then come loose and take off the evap canister pur take out the bolt that keeps the evap canister purge valve in place and remove the valve from the Intake Manifold. Once it is in place on the Intake Manifold, fasten the evap valve with the bolt and tighten to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Then, put the vacuum supply hose and the evap canister purge pipe back onto the valve, and finally attach the electrical connector to the evap canister purge valve.
