How to replace the Turn Signal Switch on 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe?

In order to change the turn signal switch, turn off the SIR system and take out the trim covers. Unscrew the wire harness assembly and determine the connector of the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly. Take out the assembly out of the steering column, and place the new assembly and fasten it. Re-connect the harness and turn on the SIR system.
