Separate the HO2S connector and use the Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) to remove the HO2S from its position. Apply anti-seize compound GM P/N 5613695 on sensor threads when installing new parts since this mixture of liquid graphite and glass beads improves future removal ease. Use the Oxygen Sensor Wrench (J 39194-B) to install the HO2S then tighten the fitting to 42 N.m (31 lb ft). Use the HO2S harness connector to complete installation then lower the vehicle to the ground.
