As the first task disconnect the Mass Air Flow Sensor electrical connector while also removing the air cleaner intake duct and its Mass Air Flow Sensor fasteners. To change the Mass Air Flow Sensor you need to remove it together with its Mass Air Flow Sensor seal. Start by positioning the new Mass Air Flow Sensor seal and sensor and then fasten the sensor with screws while applying 4 n.m tension according to the fastener notice in service precautions. Reattach the air cleaner intake duct before plugging in the Mass Air Flow Sensor electrical connector.
