How to replace the Tail Light on 2005 Buick Park Avenue?

To replace the tail lamp first remove the rear compartment sill plate and also disconnect it from the electrical connector. Then undo the three nuts that hold the tail lamp in place with the vehicle, and pull out the grommet from the back end panel before you take the tail lamp off its place. Take the locking tab and rotate the bulb and socket counterclockwise to separate them from the tail lamp and then pull out the bulb from the socket. To install, plug the bulb into the socket and twist it anti-clockwise to lock it onto the lamp. Make sure the grommet is fully seated before fitting the tail lamp back on the vehicle. After torquing the tail lamp to the three nuts, reconnecting the electrical connector, and finally reinstalling the rear compartment sill plate, the task is complete.
