A: Begin the Oil Cooler replacement process by disconnecting the upper Oil Cooler outlet hose from the thermostat bypass pipe and the lower Oil Cooler outlet hose from the Oil Cooler before removing all correspondign hardware. Begin by disconnection of the cooler connector then move to detach the inlet hose clamp before removing the Oil Cooler. Begin by taking the Oil Cooler inlet hose through its clamp process from the Oil Cooler Hose fitting followed by unscrewing the fitting. Before fitting the component apply sealer (P/N 21485278) to Oil Cooler Hose fitting threads before installing it. Tighten the fitting to 19 nm (14 ft. Lbs.). Secure the Oil Cooler inlet hose clamp to the Oil Cooler Hose fitting and install the Oil Cooler inlet hose and clamp. Then reinstall the Oil Cooler unit.
