How to replace the hood latch on 2005 Cadillac Escalade EXT?

In order to replace the hood latch, elevate the hood and take away the upper radiator support baffle. Remove the bolts in the hood release latch and remove the hood ajar indicator switch connector as needed. Take the latch off, and replace it with the new one and readjust it to fit correctly and then reattach the baffle.
