How to replace the blower motor resistor on 2005 Cadillac SRX?

First remove the left side of the trimming panel in your car to access the Blower Motor Resistor. Detach the electrical plug from the Blower Motor Resistor before removing the screws that hold it to the hvac unit and taking out the resistor from the car. Put the new Blower Motor Resistor into its proper position following the essential guidelines in service precautions. Loosely fit the screws until they reach 1 n.m or 9 lb inch force. Put back the left body side trim panel and connect its electrical connector to the new Blower Motor Resistor.
