How to replace the auxiliary A/C expansion valve on 2005 Cadillac SRX?

The first step to replace an auxiliary A/C Expansion Valve (TXV) requires removal of the auxiliary Evaporator from the auxiliary hvac module. First remove the aux A/C Expansion Valve assembly bolts then disconnect the aux A/C Expansion Valve from the Evaporator designed for disposal with its o-rings. New o-rings should be installed onto the auxiliary A/C Expansion Valve assembly followed by attaching the auxiliary A/C Expansion Valve to the Evaporator for the installation process. The auxiliary A/C Expansion Valve bolts must be installed on the auxiliary Evaporator while torque is adjusted to 3.5 n.m (31 lb in). The procedure ends with reattaching the auxiliary Evaporator back into the auxiliary hvac module.
