How to replace the inner CV Joint and seal on 2005 Chevrolet Aveo?

Before replacing the wheel drive shaft inner joint and seal start by throwing away the large seal retaining clamp after removal followed by discarding the small seal retaining clamp. After degreasing the joint you must use the snap ring pliers (J 8059) to remove the retaining ring from the shaft. After extracting the Axle Shaft from the joint assembly handle the ball retainer with caution because it is positioned for stacking and service ineligibility generates performance decline and safety hazards. Extract the joint assembly seal. Place a new small seal retaining clamp onto the seal without crimping before mounting the seal onto the Axle Shaft. Afterwards attach the joint assembly to the Axle Shaft. Use snap ring pliers (J 8059) to reinstall the shaft retaining ring. Add 120-140 grams (4.2-4.9 ounces) of recommended grease within the joint assembly before you re-fill the tripot with an equal amount of grease. Use the seal clamp pliers (J 35566) to crimp in order the new large seal retaining clamp first before crimping the new small retaining clamp with the same tool.
