How to replace the A/C Switch in the HVAC Control Assembly on 2005 Chevrolet Blazer?

Before getting an HVAC control assembly to replace it, remove the instrument panel accessory trim plate and the HVAC control assembly retaining screws. The way it is done is that with the retention tabs pressed, the HVAC control assembly will be removed from the instrument panel, then vacuum harness and the electrical connectors will also have to be pulled out from the assembly. For installation, connect the electrical connectors and the vacuum harness connector to the HVAC control assembly after positioning the assembly back into the instrument panel with all 4 It retaining tabs to be sure they lock into place. Retain the assembly with retaining screws, tightening them 1.9 N.m (17 lb in), and then reinstall the instrument panel accessory trim plate.
