    A: To change the Oil Pan, first, lift and support the vehicle, then drain the engine oil. After removing the engine splash shield, remove the engine mount strut bracket and its bolts. Then, remove the lower ac compressor bolt and revolve the upper ac compressor bolts. Unscrew the Oil Pan bolts and the Oil Pan. Make sure that the Oil Pan and the bottom of the crankcase are cleaned and free of oil and debris prior to the installation. Surround the circumference of the Oil Pan and the oil suction port opening with a 2 mm bead of rtv (GM P/N United States 12346286, GM P/N Canada 10953472 while ensuring no over-application. Mount the Oil Pan and its bolts and spread them to 25 Nm (18 ft. Lbs.). Tighten the ac compressor bolts followed by the engine mount strut bracket, and its bolts to 66 nm (49 ft. Lbs.). Lastly, install the engine splash shield, lower the vehicle, and replace the engine oil to the desired level.
