How to replace the outlet radiator hose (LX9) on 2005 Chevrolet Malibu?

The process of radiator outlet hose (LX9) replacement starts with draining coolant followed by removing the air cleaner intake duct. The Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185) should be used to move the radiator outlet hose clamp located at the engine before removing the outlet hose from the engine. After raising the vehicle start by removing the right front fender liner and proceed with removing the right radiator air deflector retainers and the right radiator air deflector. Use Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185) to reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp at the radiator before taking off the hose from the radiator and releasing all clamps on the outlet hose. The Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185) assists in relocating the clamp when attaching the radiator outlet hose clamps to the radiator outlet hose before installing the hose to the radiator. Reinstall the right front fender liner after you properly install the right radiator air deflector along with its retainers. A technician must lower the vehicle while installing the radiator outlet hose to the engine using Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185) to position the clamp at the engine before reinstalling the air cleaner intake duct and filling the coolant.
