How to replace the Rack and Pinion Boot on 2005 GMC Envoy?

In order to install the replacement rack and pinion boot, remove the hex jam nut of the inner tie rod assembly and the tie rod end clamp of the boot. Discard the boot clamp using side cutters then remove the boot. Install a new boot clamp and grease it then make sure the clamp is properly seated and then crimp it.
