  A: Begin the substitution of the filler tube with the lh door by cleaning all fuel pipe and hose connections together with their vicinity to minimize fuel system contamination. First drain all fuel until it flows beneath the fuel tank fill hose through the removal of the fuel filler cap. Starting with the removal of two screws and push-pin holding the filler neck to the body and then lifting the vehicle. The replacement of the fuel fill pipe assembly requires disconnecting the fuel fill hose from the fuel fill pipe after removing both the filler tube ground strap bolt and fuel fill hose clamp bolt. When installing the fuel fill pipe users must attach it to the fuel fill hose before guiding it towards the fuel fill pipe housing then tightening the fuel fill hose clamp until it reaches 2.75 n.m (24 lb in). First reinstall the fuel filler tube ground strap bolt with a torque of 8 n.m (70 lb in) and proceed to lower the vehicle. Reinstall the fuel fill pipe housing bolts with push-pin before filling the tank to 6 n.m (53 lb in), then install the fuel filler cap.
