How to replace the Power Steering Hose (GT4) on 2005 GMC Savana 2500?

The first step to replace the Power Steering Cooler pipe/hose (GT4) requires installing a drain pan beneath the vehicle then disconnecting the hose from both the Power Steering Pump and the power steering gear. After capping and securing the Power Steering Cooler ends from dirt entry you should remove the mounting bolts to extract the cooler from the vehicle. To install the Power Steering Cooler replace it to its specific spot then secure mounting bolts at 5 nm (44 inch lbs.). Begin by attaching the Power Steering Cooler hose to the Power Steering Pump first and fasten it to specifications of 33 nm (24 inch lbs.). Complete the connection by doing the same to the power steering gear hose. The power steering system bleed process must be completed while the drain pan from underneath the vehicle stays removed.
