How to replace the Headlight Switch on 2006 Buick Rendezvous?

The first step for replacing the headlamp switch is removing the instrument panel (I/P) cluster trim plate bezel. Use both hands to pull the headlamp switch while strongly pulling out the pivot tabs from the I/P carrier and afterward disconnect its electrical connector before removing the switch. Begin the installation process by plugging in the electrical connector to the headlamp switch and placing the switch into the retainers of the I/P carrier before pressing the switch securely into place. The last step is to put in the bezel for the I/P cluster trim plate.
