How to replace the front muffler on 2006 Chevrolet Aveo?

Start by removing nuts and gasket at the front Muffler pipe and the connecting pipe flange, and also remove nuts and gasket from the rear Muffler pipe flange. Release the connection of the front Muffler from rubber hanger and remove the front Muffler. Check Exhaust Pipe and front Muffler for holes, breakdown, open seam or deterioration that could let exhaust fumes get into the passenger cabin or trunk. For installation, attach the front Muffler to the rubber hanger, secure the front Muffler and the gasket at the rear Muffler with the nuts, and tighten the front Muffler-to-rear Muffler nuts 30 nm (22 ft. Lbs.). Next, loosely attach the front Muffler assembly to the connecting pipe flange and then tighten with the nuts; continue tightening the front Muffler-to-connecting pipe nuts to 30 nm (22 ft. Lbs.).
