    Q:
How to replace the Front Exhaust Pipe on Chevrolet Aveo? Posted by Customer
    A:
The front pipe replacement starts by removing the rear heated Oxygen Sensor before you can access the connecting pipe mounting bracket bolt at the next step. Finally you will need to separate the connecting pipe nuts along with its gasket from the Catalytic Converter. Clean the seal surfaces by removing all nuts that connect between the front muffler pipe and the connecting pipe. Identify any holes or damage as well as open streams or deterioration zones that might permit exhaust fumes to infiltrate the passenger space on the connecting pipe. The Catalytic Converter and connecting pipe with gasket need to connect to the front muffler pipe flange then tighten the nuts to 30 n.m (22 lb ft). Fasten the connecting pipe to the Catalytic Converter by applying nuts and the gasket and tighten these nuts until they reach 40 n.m (30 lb ft). Thank your installation process ends with installing the front Exhaust Pipe mounting bracket bolt at 40 n.m (30 lb ft) torque and reinstallation of the rear heated Oxygen Sensor held with 41 n.m (30 lb ft) torque.
