    A: To replace Starter motor remove it the Intake Manifold. Remove the Starter solenoid s terminal nut and lead and then the Starter terminal nut and the battery positive cable . Next, have the Starter motor mounting nut and bolt removed in order to pull the Starter motor from the engine. When installing, place the Starter motor on the top of the stud with the Starter motor mounting nut and bolt and torque fasteners to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Attach the battery positive cable to the Starter and tighten the Starter terminal nut to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Next, attach the lead to the Starter solenoid and fasten it with Starter solenoid s terminal nut tightening it to 3.5 n.m (31 lb in). Finally, reinstall the Intake Manifold.
