2006 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 Fuse Box Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to replace the right instrument panel fuse box on 2006 Chevrolet Suburban 1500?
A: Remove the right side end panel first in order to replace the right Instrument Panel Electrical Center or Junction Block. Press on the tabs to take out the fuse block, then pull it from the I/P to get to and loosen the retaining bolt. Take a screwdriver and loosen the wire harness block from the fuse block, then take the I/P wiring harness block out of the car. Hook the fuse block onto the I/P wiring harness block and fasten it in place with the retaining bolt, making sure it is tightened to 6 N.m (53 lb in). Then, put the fuse block into the I/P and make sure it snaps into position, link up the wiring harness to the block, and then install the end panel on the right side.
