Replacing the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler on a 4L60-E/4L65-E/4L70-E automatic transmission requires removing the grill assembly in the front of the car and putting a drain pan beneath the car. Dislodge the transmission oil cooler lines, do away with the auxiliary oil cooler and afterward place it back and reconnect the oil cooler lines. Lastly, install the front grill assembly once again.
