How to replace the Turn Signal Switch and multifunction switch on 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe?

To change the turn signal and multifunction switch, switch off SIR system and take the trim covers off. Un-couple the turn signal connector and the wire harness assembly. Unfit the assembly to the steering column, and fit it in the new assembly by screws. Reconnect harness and trim covers after which the SIR system is enabled.
