The process to replace rear seat back cover and pad starts with dismantling the seat back armrest before removing the center seat belt retractor when present. After pulling the j channel fastener located at the seat back cover's bottom edge the hook and loop strips connecting the seat back cover to foam pad will become free. You should lift the seat back cover up from its position on the foam pad before pulling the foam pad out of the seat back frame. To put in place the foam pad apply it directly on the seat back frame and position the seat back cover over the foam pad while moving along both sides. After attaching the hook and loop strips to the foam pad securing the seat back cover one should align the j channel fastener at the bottom edge of the seat back cover. The center seat belt retractor gets reinstalled after which the seat back armrest gets attached to its place.
