The first step for sway bar link replacement in a rear suspension requires a vehicle lift and proper vehicle support. The first step requires removal of sway bar link bolts before removing sway bar link insulators and spacer. Install sway bar link insulators first but keep them loose and then add the spacer, nut and bolt. Tighten the sway bar link nut to 15 N.m (11 lb ft). Finally, lower the vehicle.
