2007 Buick Rainier Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the rear Fuse Box on 2007 Buick Rainier?
A: The initial step for junction block or rear electrical center replacement requires negative Battery Cable removal along with appropriate safety measures. You need to remove the left second row seat during the replacement process for chevrolet trailblazer ext and gmc envoy xl models but you should place chevrolet trailblazer and gmc envoy models in a cargo position for their left second row seat. First disconnect the rear electrical center cover and separate the battery feed terminal nut which is attached to the junction block. Place the Body Control Module (BCM) from the rear electrical center as the first step before you completely loosen the 3 bolts that connect the junction block with electrical connectors. Then release the tabs which secure the junction block to its base. Starting with the Instrument Panel Harness Connector and moving on to the mobile telephone harness connector and Body Wiring Harness Connector and headliner harness connector and console harness connector the technician disconnects all these connectors from the junction block. Then the technician takes out the block base retaining nuts from the floor studs and finally removes the block base from the floor panel. Set the floor studs inside the block base and fasten it by screwing down the 10 n.m (88 lb in) retaining nuts. Connector the instrument panel harness, mobile telephone harness, body wiring harness and console harness to the block base followed by headliner harness and console harness connectors. Apply the junction block to the block base while making sure retaining tabs fit perfectly and secure it with 3 bolts that reach a torque of 3.5 n.m (31 lb in). Benefit from a well-replumbed bcm where you must place it within the rear electrical center before securing the battery feed terminal nut to 10 n.m (88 lb in) before installing the rear electrical center cover. You need to achieve either a passenger position of the left second row seat on chevrolet trailblazer or gmc envoy models or reinstall the left second row seat on both chevrolet trailblazer ext or gmc envoy xl models before you should reconnect the battery negative cable.
