  • Q: How to replace the Air Suspension Compressor on 2007 Buick Terraza?
    A: Before replacing the Air Suspension Compressor, lift and support the vehicle up. Take the clips on the side of the Air Suspension Compressor filter and pull it away from the underbody rail. Then, do away with the compressor bracket bolt and compressor bracket nuts to leave the compressor swinging on the bracket hook. Disconnect the air line from the air dryer and also remove the Air Suspension Compressor electrical connector. Angle the Air Suspension Compressor and the bracket a complete 90-degree from its downward direction to release the compressor bracket hook from the vehicle, and in turn remove the Air Suspension Compressor, and the Air Suspension Compressor bracket. Go ahead remove the Air Suspension Compressor dryer, also take out the Air Suspension Compressor relay from the Air Suspension Compressor bracket, and the Air Suspension Compressor bolts before you take it off the bracket. Take the Air Suspension Compressor filter hose off the Air Suspension Compressor; unscrew at two locations. For installation, connect Air Suspension Compressor filter hose to the Air Suspension Compressor, connect the hose at two points and install the Air Suspension Compressor to the Air Suspension Compressor bracket and tighten bracket 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Mount the Air Suspension Compressor bolts/screws: tighten till 4 n.m (35 lb in) and the Air Suspension Compressor shield, with bolts tight till 3 n.m (27 lb in). Reinstallation of the Air Suspension Compressor relay back to the Air Suspension Compressor bracket, then Air Suspension Compressor dryer. Mount the Air Suspension Compressor bracket onto the under body rail and rotate the bracket 90 degrees so that the compressor hangs from the bracket hook. Connect the Air Suspension Compressor electrical connector, install air line to air dryer, and bolt Air Suspension Compressor bracket nuts to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Lastly, screw on the Air Suspension Compressor bracket bolt, fixing it 50 n.m (37 lb ft), attach to the underbody rail the Air Suspension Compressor filter, and lower the vehicle.
