2007 Buick Terraza Ride Height Sensor Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the Ride Height Sensor (Twist Axle) on 2007 Buick Terraza?
A: The replacement of Ride Height Sensor (Twist Axle) begins by removing the ELC/TRAILER fuse followed by raising and supporting the vehicle. Start by disconnecting the Ride Height sensor connector before taking off the Ride Height sensor link from the ball stud. Next remove bolt-screws from the Ride Height sensor bracket before extracting the Ride Height sensor and its bracket from the vehicle. Reposition the Ride Height sensor and bracket onto the server allowing sufficient care to install height sensor bolts/screws then tighten them to 12 N.m (106 lb in). Place the Ride Height sensor link back onto the ball stud before finally connecting the Ride Height sensor connector. After you lower the vehicle you need to put back the ELC/TRAILER fuse which also requires proper orientation of the sensor link and sensor arm to maintain automatic level control system functionality.
