Buick Terraza Ride Height Sensor Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the Rear Ride Height Sensor on Buick Terraza?
    A:
A user must begin the height sensor replacement by disconnecting the ELC/TRAILER fuse before conducting diagnostic testing after restoring the sensor. Start by raising and supporting the vehicle and disconnection of the ride height sensor electrical connector. To remove the ride height sensor, start with unfastening the ride height sensor link from the sensor arm ball stud and then remove the ride height sensor bracket bolts before taking out the ride height sensor from the vehicle premises. Install the ride height sensor on the vehicle while following the Fastener Notice and tighten the ride height sensor bracket bolts to 85 N.m (63 lb ft). Reconnect the sensor electrical connector after connecting the sensor link to the ball stud of the sensor arm. Complete the process by checking the diagnostic system while placing the vehicle in its normal position and then reinstalling the ELC/TRAILER fuse.
