How to replace the shock absorber on a twist axle on 2007 Buick Terraza?

You have to lift and stabilize the vehicle before stabilizing the rear axle to change a Shock Absorber on a twist axle. When automatic level control exists in a vehicle the air tube connector must be detached from the Shock Absorber. First remove the upper Shock Absorber bolt combined with its nut and then remove the lower bolt together with its nut before taking out the Shock Absorber. Installation starts with placing the new Shock Absorber but always follow the provided fastener notice. After placing the Shock Absorber bolts secure them to 85 n.m (63 lb ft) torque. To reconnect the air tube connector use it on the Shock Absorber when automatic level control exists in the vehicle. The vehicle can be lowered by pulling off the support from the rear axle.
