    Q:
How to replace the shock absorber on a twist axle on Chevrolet Uplander? Posted by Customer
    A:
A mechanic must first lift the vehicle while supporting both the rear axle and then proceed to change the Shock Absorber on a twist axle. Disconnection of the air tube connector from the Shock Absorber takes place when automatic level control exists in the vehicle. The Shock Absorber replacement requires users to begin by removing the upper bolt and nut before proceeding to the lower bolt and nut to complete the process. Start with placing the new Shock Absorber into its proper position for installation. Follow the specified instructions on the marker and then attach the Shock Absorber bolts along with nuts, torquing them to 85 n.m (63 lb ft). Reinstall the air tube connector to the Shock Absorber and take away rear axle support after lowering the vehicle.
