How to Change the Shift Knob on 2007 Cadillac DTS?

When changing the floor shift knob, it is important to put the parking brake on and make sure that the engine is switched off when moving to Neutral. Strongly hold the knob and straight up to remove it. Press the lever and align the new knob with it until it clicks. Land on park and take off the brake.
