How to replace the front center console on 2007 Cadillac STS?

First remove the shifter bezel and the upper console trim before you can replace the front floor console. You can reach the retaining bolts by moving driver and passenger front seats apart. After removing these bolts continue with the following steps of installation. Disconnect the instrument panel harness from its 4 console electrical connectors to pull out the console. Installation begins by attaching the 4 console electrical connectors to the instrument panel harness followed by center console placement onto mounting brackets and repeat of driver and passenger seat movement to install retaining bolts. Drive in the retaining bolts while tightening to 9 N.m (80 lb in) torque setting and reinstall the upper console trim and shifter bezel.
