Support the brake caliper with heavy mechanic wire to avoid the damage to the hydraulic flexible brake hose and remove the brake caliper and pads as an assembly making sure no tension for the brake hose. Move on to take out the brake rotor, the abs wheel speed sensor (if it has), and the backing plate. Use the strut nut and bolt removal by lifting up the front and be very cautious not to strain the wheel drive shaft. Support the wheel drive shaft and expose knuckle, followed by the subsequent extraction of the Wheel Hub, being and seal from the knuckle. For installation, first install the Wheel Hub, bearing, and seal, while it must be installed in the knuckle; attach the knuckle assembly to the front strut, fastening the nuts and bolts and tighten them to 100 n.m (74 lb ft). Put on the backing plate with screws torqued to 4 n.m (35 lb in), abs wheel speed sensor, brake rotor, and brake caliper. Mount the lower Ball Joint onto the Steering Knuckle and tighten the lower Ball Joint nut to 55 n.m (41 lb ft). Next, attach the outer Tie Rod End to Steering Knuckle and tighten it using an outer tie rod nut to 45 n.m (33 lb ft), and loosely attach a new axle shaft caulking nut. Replace the front wheels and lift the vehicle while tightening the axle shaft caulking nut to 300 n.m (221 lb ft), then stake the caulking nut. Lastly, check the vehicle and re-measure the alignment of wheel bearings and adjust the front toe if necessary.
