How to replace the cellular communications/digital radio antenna on 2007 Chevrolet Colorado?

Begin by lowering the front section of the headliner to replace the cellular communications/digital radio antenna. First remove the retaining bolt and retainer securing the antenna. Then disconnect the electrical connectors from the digital radio antenna assembly. The plastic antenna retainer requires manual compression to free the assembly from the roof panel before removing it using an upward direction. To install the antenna assembly place it on the roof so the anti-rotation pin is correctly indexed before lowering it into position onto the roof panel. Secure the retainer to its mounting location before installing the bolt to 6 N.m (53 lb in) torque. Finally, connect the antenna wiring cables followed by returning the headliner to its position.
