The first step to change the engine Flywheel involves removing the automatic transmission by keeping track of its orientation while also remembering the initial position of the engine Flywheel before extraction. The procedure begins with unfastening the engine Flywheel bolts followed by automatic transmission engine Flywheel removal. The first step involves cleaning and inspecting the engine Flywheel while you also prepare to install two m11x1.5 mm bolts in the threaded holes of the spacer which enables removal of the spacer from the Crankshaft rear end by rotating them clockwise. The automatic transmission engine Flywheel gets installed after setting the front spacer (if necessary) on the Crankshaft rear. Applications that need a Flywheel spacer must use extended Flywheel bolts and thread-lock should be applied to the bolt threads. The engine Flywheel bolts need installation in series while torquing begins at 20 n.m (15 lb ft) for the first round followed by 50 n.m (37 lb ft) for the second round and finishing at 100 n.m (74 lb ft) during the final round. Finally, reinstall the automatic transmission.
